My Story
Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time
A little about Elli
My name is Elli Assiobo-Tipoh and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Chemistry at the State University of New York College at Buffalo and my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Medaille College. Few years later, I obtained my license in Mental Health Counseling in New York State. The change in career path occurred when I realized my life’s purpose is to help others through life’s difficult moments and to be part of their support network.
In following this purpose genuinely, I dedicated many years in academia and received experience in helping clients with many life challenges and mental health disorders. I have experience in working with people with disabilities, Veterans and Active Military men and women and their families. Elli is also experienced in families, couples and providing crisis intervention to prevent future psychological trauma. In addition to these, I also received training in Skills Enhancement and Incredible Years programs.
As an individual, my hobbies includes traveling, walking (when weather permits), spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy learning about other cultures. Another of my favorite hobby includes serving the community through various activities.
